From the supplier: Many US multinational companies have developed acceptable, affective risk management programs to offset the European Community's (EC) slow pace in winning acceptance for its uniform workplace health and safety standards. Insurance industry deregulation has left many EC member states, that formerly used insurance rate reductions for loss control, without any risk management systems. Most countries, although divided on EC standards, accept the program for identification, evaluation and control of safety risks adapted by some US countries for their European operations.
