From the supplier: Workplace diversification efforts in the US Forest Service (USFS) were investigated to determine the agency's progress in this regard. It is shown that the number of women and minorities employed by the USFS has increased significantly since the 1980s. However, women and minorities have been relegated to clerical and administrative positions which offer little opportunity for advancement. Although there is greater diversity in the USFS, the top professional and technical posts remain the domain of white, male foresters.
